Getting There

Your Way To Gili Air from Bali

Gili Air is the closest island of the three Gili Islands to Lombok. It is just off Lombok’s Northwestern Coastline

By Fast Boat from Bali

Most fast boats depart from Padang Bai (East Bali), Serangan (South Bali) or Amed (North East Bali). Which port you choose depends on your preference (longer trip by boat or car) and, of course, where you are staying in Bali. Some companies have a free hotel transfer to / from Bali's main tourist areas in the ticket price included and at the other you can purchase the transfer at an additional charge. Tickets can be purchased online at the official website of the boat company or at an online travel agent. It is also no problem to buy tickets during your stay in Bali.

Harbour Serangan

Serangan is the name of a port that is located about 20 minutes away from some of the famous tourist destinations located in the southern part of Bali island, including Kuta, Legian, Seminyak, Jimbaran and Nusa Dua.

Harbour Padang Bai

Padang Bai is not only a fishing village located on the east side of Bali. It is also the main port to cross to Lombok or Gili Islands. The fast boats head directly to the Gili Islands, while the slow ferry arrives at Lembar port on the southwest side of Lombok.

Harbour Amed

Amed is located on northeast side of Bali. From there you have the shortest crossing to the Gili Islands. Since this port is less busy due to its location, the boats are much smaller and usually do not offer the same comfort as the large boats departing Padang Bai.

Online Travel Agencies

In the past, some of our guests had problems booking directly with certain airlines with their international credit cards. Most of the time, however, it is easy to do with online travel agencies like:

How to reach us from Lombok International Airport (LOP)

Airport transfer

We offer a comfortable and easy all-in-one transfer service from/to Lombok International Airport (LOP) with our air-conditioned car and speedboat transfer (more informations here).

Would you like to organize your journey yourself?

Then you have the following options:

Taxi: There are numerous agencies offering rides on the way to the exit. These providers are licensed by the airport. Private drivers like from the app Grab cannot enter the airport area and you will meet them on the way to the parking lot.

Airport Bus: The official bus between the airport and Bangsal is operated by DAMRI. The departure times and prices can be viewed on the DAMRI app.

How else can you reach us from Bali

There is a helicopter service between Bali and Gili Islands. For more information check the website of Air Bali.
